Tree Availability & Viewing
Traverse Citrus offers a limited number of citrus and tropical fruit trees each season. Each tree is grown individually and selected for its structure, health, and suitability for container cultivation in northern climates.
Because availability is intentionally limited, trees are offered through a private viewing and reservation process.
Only a small number of trees are made available each season and listed within our Citrus Collection.
When a particular tree or cultivar is of interest, visitors may request a private viewing appointment to see the tree in person.
If interest exceeds the number of trees available, a reservation list will be created for that cultivar or specimen.
Private viewings allow visitors to evaluate the tree’s structure, form, and overall character before making a selection.
Appointments are scheduled individually to ensure each tree can be viewed carefully and without interruption.
Traverse Citrus focuses on cultivating fewer trees with greater attention to long-term quality and vitality rather than large-volume production.
As a result, availability varies from season to season and certain cultivars may only appear occasionally.
Traverse Citrus also works with organizations exploring citrus cultivation or installations within commercial environments.
This includes inquiries from:
• hospitality spaces and restaurants
• courtyards and architectural landscapes
• educational institutions and greenhouses
• emerging citrus producers exploring northern growing systems
Because each project is unique, inquiries are handled directly.
